The Musicians Union, Local 99 is the economic justice organization serving and representing professional musicians in Portland, Oregon and surrounding areas.
We are affiliated with the American Federation of Musicians of the US and Canada (AFM).
We are professional musicians united, without discrimination, to improve our economic status, social position and professional advancement. We use our collective strength to negotiate and enforce contracts that set industry-standard pay, guarantee benefits, and provide job security. Our mission is to provide musicians with the support they need to make their voices heard.
