This fund is for Local 99 members who are out of work or suffer an emergency hardship. If you would like to apply for financial assistance from the Local 99 Emergency Relief Fund, please read the prospectus, and download the application. (Please note: the maximum award, per the prospectus, is $500.)
Thank you to those members who have already donated to the Fund. We know the recovery of musician work will take longer than almost any other sector of the economy, so this will be a long haul for us. For those of us in good fortune that have received our $1200 stimulus from the IRS: your president, Bruce, has challenged us to donate a portion of that stimulus to the Local 99 relief fund, so that we might be able to help our less-fortunate members—he has pledged $500 to the fund. We encourage you to donate anything at all to build our relief fund for Local 99 members in need.
If you would like to donate to the fund, please send a check to: AFM Local 99
