Local 99 Scholarship Fund

Local 99 maintains a dedicated fund to provide continuing education/training scholarships for its members. Local 99 musicians who have been members in good standing for two (consecutive) years prior to application are eligible for up to $600 (paid directly to the institution or teacher concerned). Applications are due by April 1st; awards are announced by May 1st, and the scholarship must be used in the 12 month period of May 1st through the following April. Awardees must agree to return to the professional music community of the Local 99 jurisdiction for a period of not less than one year following the study provided by the scholarship.
